Treatments
We recognize that every individual is unique and special.
It is our priority to take the time to identify the underlying causes of health issues and formulate a powerful combination of treatments to melt away pain, stress, and many other adverse health issues.

Auricular Acupuncture
Auriculotherapy is a therapeutic intervention in which acupuncture needles are placed at specific sites on the ear to alleviate health conditions in other parts of the body. It can be used as a primary treatment or in conjunction with other interventions to prolong and augment the efficacy of tendinomuscular inputs.

Scalp Acupuncture
Chinese scalp acupuncture or head acupuncture is a contemporary acupuncture intervention integrating traditional Chinese needling techniques with western medical knowledge of the representational areas of the cerebral cortex. It has been shown to be effective in the treatment of acute and chronic central nervous system disorders.

Percutaneous electrical nerve stimulation (PENS)
PENS is a novel pain therapy which combines the advantages TENS ( transcutaneous electrical nerve stimulation) and electroacupuncture in the treatment of acute and chronic musculoskeletal pain. Various groups of neurotransmitters and endogenous opioids involved in pain perception and modulation are released peripherally and centrally by electrical stimulation at different frequencies.

Surface Release Techniques
Surface scars can be the site of a low grade inflammatory process. Scarring that occurs doing the normal healing process following injury or a surgical procedure can obstruct energy, blood, and fluid flow in the region around the scar. This obstruction in energy flow can manifest as local pain and create energetic issues above and below the site.

Trigger-Point Deactivation
Trigger points and myofascial pain present as muscle “knots” and sensitive areas in soft tissue. Appropriate deactivation of these troublesome points can lead to marked improvement in chronic musculoskeletal pain.

Cupping and Scraping (Gau Sha)
These are traditional Chinese medicine physical modalities that are frequently used to treat chronic myofascial pain. Both techniques serve to stimulate blood flow and relax muscles. In traditional terms, cupping or scrapping mobilizes stagnation and phlegm while encouraging energy flow and circulation to relieve pain.
